For many people this season is hard. Maybe we are grieving the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship or job, or are suffering other emotions and heartaches.

Hosted by Stephen Ministry, a Blue Christmas service allows us to acknowledge our sorrow and pain,  hurts and losses at this time of the year, and also  seeks to help us acknowledge and feel God’s presence and coming for us,  to help us find hope in his love.

Starts at 7:30 in the upper foyer.  There is mass at 6:30 if you would like to attend that also.  Stephen Ministers will be available to meet, talk , and pray with you.

Transportation can be provided if needed - please call the parish office at 970-635-5800.

Blue Mass Honoring First Responders - Sep. 30

Blue Mass - honoring first responders

Saturday, September 30, 4:00pm Mass.

We will offer a special blessing for first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMS responders).  If you serve in these professions, you are invited to wear your uniform to Mass.

The "Blue Mass" is named because of the traditionally blue uniforms worn by public safety personnel.

We are celebrating on September 30 because it is between Sep. 29, the Feast of the Archangels, and Oct. 2, the Feast of the Guardian Angels.  Please show your gratitude for our first responders and keep them in your prayers.

Rescued - Starts Sep. 20

Continuing Christ’s Mission

From The Rescue Project:  We passionately believe that the most urgent task is the compelling proclamation of the gospel, one that not only shares it in an attractive – and concentrated – way, but that also offers people a way of seeing reality, and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.

Our parish will begin a study group going through The Rescue Project, a 7-week course from Fr. John Riccardo, Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm in the Bread of Life Hall.  We will be providing dinner each night of the course.  The dates will be 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15 with a Saturday retreat on 11/11. We will meet Wednesdays after morning Mass in the Bread of Life Hall.  The dates will be 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15.
